Hello

Hi everyone! It's been a while, but we've been busy! Brandon's deployment got canceled...he's looking at a couple other ones. One leaves in July and on in August. We'll see what he decides to do. :)
The baby is getting so big! He will now grab onto his buddy (a blanket with a dog head) and chew on it. He also smiles back at you when you smile at him and he's more fun to play with! Also, I got a new tattoo (first one if over 2 years!). Here's some pics of that. I've heard all the "you're going to get old", "what if you want a job", etc. every time I get a tattoo from at least 5 different people so don't feel the need to be redundant (Mom) or reiterate yourselves. ;)

What I want to be...

when I grow up is: a doula.

I've talked about this a bit with my mom and my husband and some friends but I finally decided that I definitely want to do it. :)
I need to decide whether I want to be certified through DONA or ALACE. I also need to start reading the required books. Both certifications require a 3 day workshop so I won't be able to do that until I get back to Texas this summer (I will be needing to bring a babysitter for the time I'll be in class, if anyone is interested).
Once I do the workshop I will be a "doula" and can start attending births. I'm very excited about this!
I also hope that the training will help me have a better birth next time. Not that Corbin's birth wasn't awesome, I am just a little dissapointed in how it went. You know? It wasn't peaceful and smooth at all. I was kind of looking forward to laboring at home with just my hubby for a while before going to the birth center.
Anyway, water under the bridge! I just thought I would post a little update while my boys are napping!

Frowny Face

Our son has the absolute best frowny face in the world! It is so sad that it makes us laugh, I was able to catch it in a couple pics but only when he was recovering from them. :)

My baby is sick!

If you could see me right now my smile would be upside down. :( He has an ear infection. He also has a runny nose so bad I have to stop him when he's eating to suction it or else he can't breathe! Everyone please pray for a speedy recovery!
